Haeyoung and Takeshi met us again for breakfast and coffee, before we got on the train to Kyoto.
Maybe too much luggage...
The bullet trains are fast and comfortable... although Joe was slightly feverish from the night before. Everything was ok!
Arriving was pretty easy, although we were a little confused as to which way was north and wandered around for a while. Worked it out over lunch!
Then, a quick temple visit!
We mostly wandered around the central area and got our bearings. Very interesting!
Time to recharge for tomorrow - a big day of biking!
