We stumbled out of bed to find this random children's festival pretty much right outside our hotel. Here's joe unable to explain.
There were also some really big (monster) dogs in the park nearby. Should have gotten a better photo - they could have turned on him easily. We actually saw many strange things in the park.

I think these were gifts from France - the emperor at the time really liked wine. I also like wine.

Harajuku was crowded but we came on the wrong day for cosplay.

I was told about these chopsticks and wanted to buy them, but couldn't bring myself to spend 1000 yen on them. Good choice really.
Oh - and there was a monster fish outside! (not newsworthy but kept us entertained for at least 30 seconds!)
And then a giant spider chased us home.
